Gene Pool podcast: artist-led spaces
Last weekend I was at South Hill Park’s Digital Media Centre for one of their courses.
Martin Franklin, the DMC manager, has been following the development of the fizzPOP hackerspace I’m involved in organising and invited me to take part in a Gene Pool meeting and podcast whilst I was around. So, on Sunday evening I joined Martin, co-host Janet and Julie Hoyle from the Ochre Print Studio to talk about our experiences of setting up artist-led spaces and “artists doing it for themselves; doing naughty things without funders”.
