The process of seeking out contributors and sending the sketchbooks off on their journeys is probably more important than what we get back at the end of it all, so we decided to mark the start of the process with a one-night event at Springhill Institute.

Gathering together artists from Tokyo and Birmingham, we each contributed a page for inclusion in Volume 0 of the sketchbook series.
